Mitchell Rosich - PartnerMr. Rosich, 46 yrs, began consulting for Athenian in 2000 and became a partner of the firm in 2002. He has 7 years of technology venture investing experience and an additional 21+ years of industry experience in product and engineering development and management of three early stage start-up technology companies, as well as with established technology companies. He has been awarded 11 computer technology patents for software and hardware, 8 of which have been used in commercial applications. He has been a colleague of Mr. Elderkin's since they were engineering students at Cornell and subsequently established their technology careers in the Boston area.

Prior to joining Athenian, he was Vice President of Engineering for Sandburst Corporation (2000-2002), a semiconductor company he joined as it was raising its first round of venture capital financing. From 1999-2000, he was Vice President of Engineering for the Access Systems Division of CIENA, after it acquired another start-up, Omnia Communications, where Mr. Rosich served as Vice President of Engineering. During 1998-1999, he was a founder and Vice President of Engineering of EasyLAN Corporation. He also was an engineering development director and manager at 3Com (1995-1998) and also at EMC Corporation (1993-1995). He began his career as an engineer with Digital Equipment Corporation (1986-1993).

Mr. Rosich has BS (with Distinction) and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering, both from Cornell University and an MBA with High Honors from Boston University.
