AARON SOLOMON, CPA |
From August 2004 until joining Athenian, Mr. Solomon was a Senior Audit Associate with Grant Thornton LLP in the South Florida office, working on publicly traded and privately held companies in the biotech, technology, railroad, manufacturing, and distribution industries. Mr. Solomon worked with clients on such transactions as debt restructurings, capital raises, capital investments, and acquisitions. Previous to joining Grant Thornton, Mr. Solomon worked in finance and operations roles with Pro Player Stadium (now Sun Life Stadium), having initially begun his career in finance with the Florida Marlins. In addition, he completed an internship on Wall Street with Merrill Lynch. Mr. Solomon currently serves as an adjunct professor in the Accounting department at Florida Atlantic University. In addition, he is active in the community, serving as President of the Village at Harbor Beach Condominium Association. Mr. Solomon also holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Solomon received his BBA in Accounting from the University of Miami, and received his MS in Accountancy from Florida Atlantic University. |
Mr. Solomon, 29 yrs, joined Athenian as Controller in 2008. His responsibilities include the operational functions of accounting, tax and financial reporting as well as financial modeling and analysis.
